DIY Fabric Flower

Make your own fabric flower for sash, pins for your accessory embellishments.

What You'll need:
                                                       -Fabric (nylon or poly/nylon mix)
                                                       -Thread
                                                       -Needle
                                                       -Scissors
                                                       -Candle
                                                       -Tweezer
-Metal Clip (if you want the flower to be a pin)

1.  Using the fabric cut about 6 to 9 flower shape in various sizes from 1/2 inch to 4 inches.

2.  Using the candle, singe the edge of the fabric.  For smaller pieces, use a tweezer.  Be careful not to burn your finger.

3. Singe all the pieces.  Then stack them on top one another, with biggest on bottom and smallest on top.

4.  For thinner fabrics you may stack all at once.  For thicker fabric you may have two stack.  Stitch the smaller stack first.  Running the needle through all layer at the center.

5.  Stack the smaller stack on top of the big one, stitch them all together.  If you want you could add beads or pearl to the center to give a little sparkle.

6.  End with a know at the back.  If you want you can stitch a metal pin on the back and you'll have a flower pin accessory.

A beautiful flower you can accessorize to sash, hair, bags, cloths, etc....  =)
